Creating Better Futures

At Havas London we believe in Creating Better Futures

This means:

- Better futures for our clients, through effective, compelling communications and demonstrable ROI.

- Better futures for our staff, through a range of initiatives aimed at ensuring they are as motivated and supported as possible.

- Better futures for the wider community, through everything from helping out the local soup kitchen to creating One Young World, a global platform for young stars of the future to debate global issues.

Our clients
What exactly do we do?
Advertising

Advertising

We create advertising ideas that are memorable, simple and motivating. For TV, print, radio and digital. But as the world continues to experience ideas in new ways we make sure our clients also benefit from evolving channel opportunities.

Strategy and planning

Strategy and planning

It’s essential that brand planning, channel planning and creative development work together from the off. So we ensure that they do. With more channel choices than ever before, it’s vital that the work is targeted to make it as potent as possible.

PR

PR

We are the only agency to have a properly integrated PR team sitting at the heart of our process. We like to involve them from the start to ensure maximum coverage for clients’ activity. But if PR is all you require, please contact us, or have a look at our website: www.havaspr.co.uk

Digital

Digital

The role of our full-service digital team is to create and implement digital strategy from web design and build to branded content, technology innovation, mobile, search, social media and PR.

Social

Social

Our Cupola Lab is a specialist SoMe team, working Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and all the social channels you may never have heard of, to maximum advantage. Like? We do.

Search

Search

Search-Engine-Optimisation is hugely important to the effectiveness of all our work. We have e-marketing and database specialists who make it their mission to put our clients at the top of any online search.

Retail Marketing

Retail Marketing

Our team has experience in delivering all aspects of store or on-trade campaigns, for alcohol, travel or finance brands, as well as for High Street stores. It’s a sophisticated business, and a long way from “shelf wobblers”.

Our culture

Our Culture

Work hard, have fun, be nice.

At Havas, a hierarchy-free workplace ensures equality of opportunity and unity of purpose. It's the very essence of Havas Worldwide London. We're all on the same side.

Here are a few reasons why we were named "Media Employer of the Year 2013":

HaV IT! are our social events team

HaV IT! are our social events team

They keep the agency smiling (and informed) by means of regular trips to cultural events (Swan Lake, Wireless Festival and Matilda) and not-so cultural events (runs, walks and crawls).

Our Parties

Our Parties

Every summer, there’s a mini festival in a secret location with stalls, games, food, drink and live music, supported by home-grown agency talent. The Christmas Party is even better. Last year, for example….actually…..no. What happens at the Christmas Party stays at the Christmas Party.

Doing Good

Doing Good

We don't just believe in Better Futures for our clients and our employees - we believe in Better Futures for the wider community. On a local level, we support MIND, and help out at the local soup kitchen. On a global level, we have worked on a range of campaigns that aim to provide Better Futures, such as tck tck tck and the Peace Button, and we also founded One Young World.

If it helps the people around us - near or far - and it keeps us grounded, then we're keen to get involved.

The Graduate Training Programme

The IPA Creative Pioneers Scheme

The IPA Creative Pioneers Scheme

It’s not just graduates who are the future of our industry, it’s non-graduates too. We’d hate the good ones to slip through the net, so we’re big advocates of this IPA scheme to provide opportunities in our business to those who haven’t been to university.

Graduates

Are you good on paper?

Applications for our 2014 graduate programme have now closed.

Thank you to all those who applied.

We'll be looking for more talented grads in 2015, so keep a look out for further information.

What our current grads had to say

Why Havas?

Emily: The projects that Havas is involved in outside of the day to day work, like One Young World and the Tck Tck Tck campaign.
Flora: The work. The people. The culture.
Hannah: Because they care about broader issues than advertising.

First impressions?

H: A lot of denim, a nice orchid in reception, and a seriously well-organised interview process.
F: Down-to-earth.
E: Friendly, fun agency. Quirky office.

Funniest moment?

E: Russ wearing ALL the fancy dress at HavaFiesta.
H: Trying to pretend I didn’t find it funny that Flora got “motorboated” and “motivated” confused in a meeting.
F: Mike falling off a stack of hay bales at the summer party and pouring a pint of beer down himself .

Describe the internship in three words.

E: Fast. Exciting. Inspiring.
F: Only three words?!
H: Entertaining learning-curve.

Favourite Havas work?

F: I'm a big fan of the Chivas 'Live with Chivalry' work and the ‘Metamorphosis’ film for Credit Suisse.
E: Evian "Live Young" Playgrounds is a true example of Havas brilliance.
H: “Footballet” and Dulux “Walls”.

If Havas were an animal it would be....

H: A Duck-Billed Platypus?
F: A Kangaroo.  Nurturing and never sits still.
E: A raid of Army Ants - the ultimate team.

Best thing about working at Havas full time ?

H: Working at Havas full time.
E: No day is the same and everyone is always pleased to see you.
F: Working with such an inspiring, intelligent and creative bunch.
And absolutely the FRIDAY FRY-UP.
